In order to provide a preliminary data quality assessment and alert observers to potential problems with their observations, the FUSE Project has established the "Science Data Oversight Group" (SDOG). As observations are performed, the members of this group review the basic characteristics of each data set and document their findings on a "Science Data Assesment Form" (SDAF). For the GI programs, an ASCII copy of this form will be e-mailed to the program PI at the time that the data are archived. Below, we give an example of a completed SDAF, together with some annotations.
