This page contains a link to the directory which contains graphical timeline plots of officially delivered Mission Planning Schedules (MPS). These plots provide an overview of activities and orbital events during each time period and may be useful to observers for placing their observations and exposures in context. These plots indicate the PLANNED sequence of activities, and do not indicate any anomalies that might have occurred during actual execution of the observations. Most links are to PDF files, which can either be downloaded or viewed with Adobe Acrobat or similar s/w. For recent MPSs, these files are in PostScript format, which can be downloaded or viewed with "GhostScript" or similar s/w.

Note that the files are named according to the starting date of the MPS and FUSE orbit number (since launch). For instance:

mps_2002_318_17869.001.pdf,

corresponds to an MPS which begins on year 2002, day 318 (eg. November 14) and FUSE orbit number 17,869.

These plots are generated for use by the Science Operations staff, and some of the labelling is a bit obtuse. However, there many things of interest to observers as well. A brief explanation of the plots is provided HERE for those who want to know more.

This page will be updated approximately weekly.
