FUSE Visibility Tool, version 6.0

Currently Out-of-date! April 2005

While this tool may provide some useful information to Cycle 6 users and beyond, it does not represent reality!

A revised version of the tool is in the process of being developed for one-wheel mode that will allow the user to assess the availability of a given target, for a given time period. This tool will be useful for calculating the time intervals when the spacecraft can point at the selected target, taking into account both the pre-reaction wheel anomaly constraints as well as the requirement for positive torque authority with the new control system. This tool will not be ready prior to the Cycle 6 Phase 2 deadline.

Important note: Calculating magnetic torque authority windows is computationally intensive. (A one year timespan for a single target may take a minute or more, depending on server loading). Please be patient!
